Treasure Hunt Rules
Accepting the challenge means that you agree to all the risks of a regular canoe trip and you will always keep the shoreline in view while searching. You understand that there is no need to take any extra risk beyond that of a typical backcountry canoe trip in order to find its location ⁃ Keep proof of your entry permit. In order to claim the prize you will need to show that you were in the park legally and were following all the rules of the Park as set out to you by entry staff and/or your outfitter. If you are at the right spot the Treasure Chest should be in plain view so there is no need to disturb the surroundings. Always practice “Leave no trace” when in the park.
To win the grand prize, simply retrieve the Treasure Chest and notify the Wilderness Supply Company. Ontario Parks Staff and Friends of Quetico Park board members are not elligible. The winner will receive a prize with a value greater than $5000(CAD) including a 17' Kevlar canoe from Novacraft. If that person is a member of the Friends of Quetico Park, they will receive prizes and cash valued at $10,000 (CAD).
