Meet Paws the Black Bear. Black bears have a black or brown coat, a long snout, and long claws. They climb trees and live in forested areas (like provincial parks!). About 90% of Ontario Parks are located in bear country.
Black bears might be large, but they are generally very shy around humans. They have a love for human food, though, so be sure to keep your food secure when camping! This stuffed animal is the only Black bear you’ll want to see at your campsite.
